Session will provide an update on open data activities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, and an opportunity to discuss how to improve collaboration regionally to increase the impacts of open data. What has been happening in the region since IODC 2015? What kind of advances have taken place in the context of the roadmap that came out of IODC 2015 or more generally? What are the challenges or expectations looking forward? What examples do we see of cross-border collaboration on big open data issues, and how can regional collaboration be improved or expanded?
