Biography: Emilio López Romero is a computer engineer. He is the Director of the National Centre for Geographic Information of Spain, the National Contact Point for INSPIRE Directive and President of the Spain's Geographical Information Infrastructure Board of Directors. For more than 12 years Emilio López has been working in the field of Spatial Data Infrastructures with main focus on governance and IT architecture both in a national and international context.
