Biography: Jean-Noé Landry is Executive Director of Open North, Canada's leading non profit specialized in applied research on open data, government open data, open parliament, and civic technology. Open North conducted data assessments of national and sub-national legislatures in Canada, contributes to the development of legislative open data standards, and builds interactive websites with open legislative data. Open North built ReadyReckoner, a series of budget simulator tools for the Parliamentary Budget Office to assist MPs and citizens to cost policies and develop predictive fiscal analysis. Open North provides technical advice to ParlAmericas, a regional network of MPs/parliaments, in developing a regional open parliament planning framework for legislatures in the Americas.
