Councilor of Transport for Madrid's Regional Government; Councilor of Economy and Treasury for Madrid's Regional Government; Senator for Madrid's Regional Government; Deputy for the Assembly of Madrid; Spokesperson for the Parliamentary Group of Partido Popular party at the Assembly of Madrid; General Secretary of Territorial and Communitary Fiscal Politics for the Minitry of Treasury; Councilor of Treasury for Madrid's Regional Government; President of the board of Directors for Canal de Isabel II.

He is currently Secretary of State for Public Administrations.
