Carlos Fernández holds a Superior Degree in Physics and earned an MBA from the “Instituto de Empresa” in Madrid. His professional career has been developed in companies such as Saint Gobain, Indra, Reuters and Fedea.
At the present time, he is member of the Board of Directors at Logalty (online legal security company), at CTI (financial services company) and at ASNEF Logalty. In addition, he is a member of the board of the XBRL Spanish Jurisdiction.
He was member of GREFIS (Financial Information Services Group of Experts) and member of the XBRL CRAS (Credit Risk Services), being Vice President of the Technical Working Group and being responsible for the Project to establish the FLIPA taxonomy. Furthermore, he was member of the Information Technologies Advisory Council (CATI), of the AMETIC Association (Multi-sector Partnership of Electronics, Communications Technology, Telecommunications and Digital Content Companies).
