Biography: Margarida Campolargo has a MSc. in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of Porto (FAUP) and completed two postgraduate studies  at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC)  and at the Escola Superior de Dissenny i Enginyeria de Barcelona (ELISAVA).

She made her thesis and further research work on Urban and Social Sustainability with several publications. She worked in several non-profit organizations and integrated the board of youth associations, participating as a representative in the ENAJ for the definition of Public policies for Youth.

Since 2011 she has been working in urban planning and project management with several projects in Smart Cities  such as the Campus del Diagonal-Besòs,  MyNeighbourhood Project and Human Smart Cities Network in the Human Smart Cities Network. She was a consultant for Porto Municipality in international projects and is currently Head of Smart Cities Unit of Porto Digital (from Porto Municipality).
