Biography: Rakesh is a well known transparency campaigner in India with a decade of grassroots experience. He is the founder of Factly, a well known public information portal in India. He is also a co-convenor of National Campaign for People's Right to Information. He was a Right to Information fellow with the Government of India and was part of the legislative fellowship program, sponsored by the US Department of State. He has helped various government departments in better information disclosure. He also led multiple studies on the Right to Information act & its implementation in India. He was a speaker at various fora like TEDx, Pecha Kucha nights etc.
