Biography: Teruo Tomita is a Deputy Director of National Strategy Office of IT, Cabinet of Secretariat, Government of Japan. He works for making Open Data strategies and executing the deployment of Open Data from national to local Governments. He also engages with private sectors to help promote utilization and penetration of Open Data in civil society. Medical IT is also his main field at the Office of IT, Cabinet of Secretariat. Besides, he has been working for R&D and business development for Smart Glass and applications for many years and has IT research and consultant background as an IT analyst.
