Biography: Theo Kontogiannis works in the business development department of Agroknow as Account Manager. He is responsible for collecting data requirements of the agricultural community and transforming them into respective data-powered services. He is also involved in various agri-food projects that focus on aggregation of agricultural information (e.g. metadata records) from digital repositories, metadata management workflows and linking/networking agricultural data sources. In the context of open access data in agriculture, Theo has collaborated with key international agricultural organisations such as Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Global Food Safety Partnership (GFSP) of the World Bank and the Global Forum for Agricultural Research GFAR).
