Title proposal: Opening up extractives and land projects.
Biography: Rob Pitman leads NRGI's organizational advocacy and research on contract transparency and manages the use of the Natural Resource Charter as a tool to structure analysis and dialogue. He is based in Washington D.C. Prior to joining NRGI, Rob worked as a lead member of the Carter Center Access to Justice and Governance Program in Liberia and as member of the Carter Center Conflict Resolution Program in Atlanta. He has also worked on access to justice projects in Namibia and on farm forestry projects in India. Rob holds an M.S. in human rights from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a B.S. in politics and philosophy from the University of Bristol.
